# K’Ho Coffee proposal: sources and asset credits

Independent, uncommissioned website proposal for private outreach. This page is not the official K’Ho Coffee website. K’Ho Coffee and its respective photographers retain rights to all brand photography. Assets were downloaded from the brand’s public website and resized/cropped for this proposal only. No stock or generated imagery is used.

## Photography

Responsive local WebP derivatives preserve the original photographs, except for resizing and compositional crops. The mobile hero uses a deliberate portrait crop of the same farm photograph. `assets/preview.webp` derives from the mountain image. Filenames describe page usage, not authorship.

- [Onyx Coffee Lab](https://onyxcoffeelab.com/): producer spotlight connects a specific farm/family story with an offering; the site exposes roast-finding and brewing tools alongside commerce. Applied the content principle of origin first and helpful choice second, with K’Ho’s own photography and facts.
- [Onyx Find My Roast](https://onyxcoffeelab.com/pages/find-my-roast): reference for giving a coffee chooser its own clear task. K’Ho’s simple brew-method mapping comes from K’Ho’s published menu, not Onyx’s recommendation logic.
- [Origin Coffee](https://www.origincoffee.co.uk/): reviewed current site and source, including shop navigation by brew method and editorial learning paths around producers, varietals and processing.
- [Origin Direct Trade](https://www.origincoffee.co.uk/pages/direct-trade): the image-supported chapter structure and links between price, relationships and traceability informed a compact photographic journal with factual captions. No Origin claims, imagery or copy were reused.

The final composition is an original full-bleed farm landscape, dark pine contact sheet, restrained sans-serif typography and monospaced annotations. The chooser is a paper order slip over a real farm-shop image. It deliberately avoids the cream split hero, large italic serif headings and repeated product-card grid used elsewhere in the portfolio.

System Arial/Helvetica and Courier New font stacks require no downloaded font assets. No personal information is collected. Official-site links are clearly identified.

## Impeccable refinement, 1 November 2026

Refined using the [Impeccable](https://github.com/pbakaus/impeccable) polish and craft guidance.

The polish preserves the green farm-journal direction and gives the coffee selection panel more room. Brew-method choices stack on mobile, quantity controls have larger touch targets, and calculated totals use tabular numerals. The preview opens at the top, keeps its close action visible during scrolling, and restores focus when closed.
